Blessed

I have realized this week how stinking blessed I truly am. This realization came to me yesterday when the floor sons blessed the crap out of me. They bought Catherine and I season passes to D-land!!! They stinkin rock! I seriously almost cried when they told me. How do I deserve such kindness, I kept thinking to myself.  I then started to think about what else in my life are blessings and this is what I have come up with.

I have the most amazing family in the world. My parent are super supportive of what I do, they treat me with respect, they help me when I need it (no questions asked, no judgement), they tell me everyday how much they love me, and they let me know that I am lovely. My brother and I have a great relationship, he is my best friend. AND he is marrying one of my closest friends which makes him so much cooler. My grandparents are so much more than I could ever ask for. They are great examples of what Godly followers should be. My grandpa Donnie was an amazing example of what it meant to have a servant's heart and to be humble and giving. I miss him very very much. My cousins all have such amazing character and I love each one more than they know. And I am super excited to have Janell as family soon. She has already made a great addition and I can wait to have her as a sister.

I am able to go to college in california! This experience has been the best I have ever had.

I have the most amazing friends. Jessica and Emily have been close to me since I was in 6th grade and I don't ever see me losing that. They are the funniest, craziest, most amazingest friends ever, and I can't wait to see them in december!

I have the greatest roomies. I seriously couldn't have picked anyone better to live with. We have so much fun in our apartment and we all get along. We make super cool music videos, we have great snuggle times, we know how to relax, we have blogging parties...its great fun!

We have wonderful floor sons...those guys seriously rock. They are always over and we love their company, they rock at flag football, and they are such a blessing!

I am blessed in so much more and this blog would go on forever, but these are the ones that have blessed me most recently. I love you all, and thanks for being wonderful.

Things I am hating right now...

So I was lying on the floor in the family room of our apartment singing an obnoxious song about everything I was hating at that moment. Then I looked at the annoyed expressions on my roommates' faces and decided I should write them down then sing them out. So without further ado I bring you the things I hate (as of right now)

I hate school and all the classes that I have to attend, and the silly tests and papers that are choking the life out of me (especially the required classes that have nothing to do with my major) HATE!

I hate stupid journal reviews on medical jargon that I barely understand, and then I have to turn around and summarize what they were doing. And to top it off when people write sucky articles that don't provide enough information it makes my job 10 times harder. HATE!

I hate the stupid weather right now. I hate that it was so hot that I literally thought I would melt into a small puddle on the floor which brings me to my next point. I hate that my apartment doesn't have AC. So we have to leave our door open, which brings all the bugs in, which we have to kill, which I HATE!

I hate that Minnesota is starting fall and that stupid california doesn't even know what a true fall really is. The only thing that changes color here during the fall is the color of the smog...ew! I hate that I am not home in the nice crisp fall air, taking in the beautiful sight of trees in various different colors, and smelling the scent of camp fires and hot coco. HATE!

I hate that if I eat one little cookie and I gain 5 lbs. HATE!

I hate that its almost that time of the month, which is probably why I am so full of hate right now. Also, lets face it mother nature sucks big time! HATE!

I hate that my transcript from last summer has yet to make it into the hands of vanguard, even though it has been mailed 3 times. Also, the fact that these classes have yet been entered mess with registration, graduation, and applying for Grad schools. HATE!

I hate how the GREs are set up...its just stupid..enough said... HATE!

I hate that I have no fudgsicles in the house right now because I am craving them like a crazy straw (I know that doesn't make sense). HATE!

I hate that the Twins didn't make the play-offs... its just sad. Stinking White Sox. HATE!

I hate that I am not with my family right now, and that I am not home to help plan my bro's wedding with his fiance. HATE!

I hate that one rap song where the guy keeps singing over and over again, "hummama hummama hummama hummama" over and over and over and over and over again... it drives me loco!!! (Name that tune). HATE! Oh and I hate that when it come on the radio my "friends" blast it and refuse to change the station.  Mean words! HATE!

I hate that nicole shoves me to the ground, hits me on the head, and sits on me when I am being nothing but an angel to her all the time... I hate living in fear. HATE! ;)

I hate that I have to tell kara that I can see her crack every night! Just say no to crack Kar, just say no! HATE! ;)

I hate the price of plane tickets! HATE!

I hate that we have a remote for the garage and a separate remote for the gate. Why couldn't they just put them both on one unit! HATE!

I HATE SPIDERS!

I love diet coke with lime :) yum!

I hate white pasty legs (that's for you chris... :) )

I hate that boys are more dramatic then girls, but girls get the wrap for being emotional...what a load. HATE.

Well, I am slowing winding down on my hate rampage, I guess it was a mixture of stress, annoyance, coming off a sugar high from my bag of sour patch kids, and boredom. I would like to take this time to thank my roomies for not making the hate list (a lot), because you guys rock and you make my life suck less. Stay classy!

robots=danger

SO I just watched a movie that involved a robot gone wrong. When will we learn that we cannot give these robots too much power and intelligence? Have movies taught us nothing? These robots always end up coping an attitude, thinking they can do whatever they want, and take over all control. Usually, they turn against humans and try to kill us all. I think it is best illustrated by the flight of the conchords song Robots. Pretty much the song is about how robots have killed off the entire human race with poisonous gases because we worked them for unreasonable hours . If this doesn't scare you...I don't know what will.
So I guess I am just trying to tell you to watch your back, because you never know when a robot is going to turn on you....baaa!

The Belly Button Song

I dedicate this song to Chris Taylor and his LOVE for belly buttons:

I gotta button and its not from my shirt, no,no,no,no
I gotta button and its not from my skirt, no,no,no,no
I gotta button its a part of me, its in the middle of my tummy
It's my belly button
and its right underneath my sweater
My belly button, and its holding me together

Better than a zipper or a safety pin, let's sing the belly button song again.

A name for food baby

I have been asked to name my food baby. After much deliberation I have decided that my food baby's name is Fuller. Why Fuller you ask. Well let me tell you. Fuller reminds me of the word full, like how those wonderful tacos filled my stomach with goodness. Plus, it gives me a little flashback to the movie Home Alone... with the cousin named Fuller ("easy on the soda, Fuller"). And that my friends is the name of my food baby. :)

My food baby

I am completely satisfied after having two wonderful soft taco carne asadas from Great Mex. Those tacos tug at my heart strings (and they like to play a little number on my tummy). None the less, I LOVE THEM. After finishing those delectable tacos I looked down at my bodacious abs and notice a tiny bulge where my stomach lies. I, Katie Kremer, have a food baby. I am stuffed to the max, laying (that's for you catherine) on my bed in hopes to stretch my stomach out to make my food baby less noticeable. But it looks as though I am going to have to wait it out. Until friday, my dear carne asada soft tacos ;)

"Be Yourself"

They say, "Be Yourself," like you know exactly what that is...like you're a toaster or something...like there's only one way to pop out you. Well maybe being me isn't just one thing. Maybe just searching for me is being me and not being them-being themselves...being toasters. Maybe being me is more like a breakfast cereal variety pack. Maybe that's what i'll be...today. but tomorrow, who knows? Maybe the blue plate special.
